American Enterprise Day Observance

Volunteer members of the FBLA taught a 2-day class to the 6th graders on November 12 and 13.  Student leaders used the simulation "Hot Shot Business" to teach the concept of becoming a successful business owner.  Sixth grade students improved their business skills through activities and discussions.  They discovered what it meant to grow a business without overspending, they became aware of marketing trends that affected their goods and services, and they had to come to terms with ethical decisions.

Ashley explains HotShot Business procedures.

A demonstration at the computer is given to the class.
