Senior High Band - Many styles of music will be studied, rehearsed and performed including rock, country, jazz, classical and contemporary. Emphasis will be placed on the basic ensemble musicianship such as dynamics, balance, intonation, precision, tone quality, articulations, rhythmic accuracy, and interpretation. It will include marching band, concert band, jazz band, small groups and solos. Open to grades 8-12.
Mixed Chorus - This course is designed to meet the vocal music needs of all students by offering both large and small group experiences to its members. A wide range of music from classical to popular is selected for performances. Opportunities are available for participation in small groups and for doing solo work. Open to grades 9-12.
