DILOGUE - & FEAST ABUNDANTLY on CATHOLIC THEOLOGY & SCRITURE

Please welcome Fr. Koos Walters, from the

Mission of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales

“6Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an  abundance for every good deed; 9as it is written,

“He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor,

      His righteousness endures forever.”

10Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your     righteousness; 11you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. 12For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also     overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.”

(2 Corinthians 8-12)

Fr. Koos (pronounced: Koo-ous and means ‘James’) Walters comes from South Africa and has a mission in Wilmington,     Delaware. His order serves the needs of the Catholic Church in  Namibia, Uruguay, India, Brazil, Ecuador, Columbia, Haiti, South Africa and Benin. He makes his appeal to people of goodwill, who having received salvation from God through the mission of Holy Mother the Church, first in baptism and then in reconciliation and in the Holy Eucharist are called to express their gratitude for the gifts received by giving to God’s faithful in need. Fr. Walters, may the Lord bless your mission and your people. (You may make your gift in the 2nd collection at masses or send your gift to St. Patrick’s Office, made to ‘Oblate Fathers, Delaware.’)
