2019 K-8 Art Show Results

The 2019 K-8 Spring Art Show was held in conjunction with the High School Art Show this year. It was on display at the Antelope County Fair Grounds from Thursday, April 11th through Sunday, April 14th.

Lower Elementary Best of Show

The Lower Elementary (K-4) Best of Show winner is a clay piece by Nora Kucera, a 4th grade student at Verdigre. Her Art Instructor is Cathy Barta. The Upper Elementary (5-8) Best of Show winner is a drawing by Lindsay Beeks, an 8th grade student at Norfolk Junior High. Lindsay’s Art Instructor is Jackie Ruzicka.

Upper Elementary Best of Show

Thirty-one (31) schools in the ESU 8 area entered over a thousand pieces of artwork. Approximately, four hundred fifty (450) visitors came to the Art Show! Kristina Swantek, formerly with the Norfolk Art Center, was the judge for this year’s K-8 Art Show. Thank you Kristina!
