Jodie Tagel is currently a behavior consultant at Educational Service Unit #8. She has been employed by ESU8 since August of 2024. Prior to this position, she was a behavior consultant in a metro area district in Nebraska,an agency in Iowa agency and taught students with challenging behavior K-12 for 17 years in several different school districts. She is the co-author of How to Reach and Teach Children with Challenging Behavior: Practical, Ready-to-Use Interventions That Work.

She offers classroom observations for students with behavioral needs in grades PK-21 and gives recommendations/feedback on what supports to give these students with behavioral needs. She is available for collaboration and support to schools as well as professional development on a variety of behavioral topics.
