West Holt 4th graders under the guidance of Mrs. Shirley Rossman have successfully created back-to-back years of Six Shot Story projects with Clips on iPad. The classes learned about digital storytelling, specifically camera angles and shot selection in videography. Using their writing skills they created a Six Word Story- using exactly 6 words; no more, no less. The students put it all together using Apple’s Clips app on iPad.
During the 2017-18 school year they centered on their school, and during the 2018-19 the stories were based on topics the 4th graders were currently learning in Science.
